Landscaping

Finally here are some pictures of our landscaping we put in this year. Actually Dean did all of the work. We have been in our house a for one year now. Landscaping was our big project for this year, next year will be a privacy fence and a nice play set for the kids.

I cannot believe you've been there a year already.
Good job Dean! I didn't realize you put in little lights along the sidewalk, too. I love that.

The landscaping looks great. I know that it takes a lot of work to complete that. Job well done.

I was more taken by the baby up top though. Nice picture!

Amanda, the dark tree is a Japanese Maple. We do have a coral burst crab in the back, but it wasn't doing well at first. I think it's starting to bounce back now. Dean could walk you around and tell you the names of everything.

Laurie, it looks great. Dean did an awesome job on it.

Love the landscaping! Did Dean do the plans himself? Our landscaping needs to be updated. I just don't know where to start. I would like to do it myself but need to know what has to be removed and what to put in it's place. Once I have a plan I could go forward. Any suggestions?
I too love the picture of Addie. I have to figure out how to do that. And your wall paper on your sight. Love it!

Tracy, we had Kluck's nursery draw up the plans for us. They do it for $100, then Dean bought the trees and shrubs at Lowe's and another nursery cheaper. We were going to try to design it ourselves, but didn't know where to start either. We told them some of the things we liked and they put it in the design. We still have the blue prints, I could show you what they look like.

Thanks for the information. I just need to contact a nursery around here and then I can get started like you.
