Anna Christine
I took Rachel up to see mommy and her new baby sis today. Rachel just LOVES her and wants to know when they can take their baby home. Kara and Anna are both doing great, and will hopefully be able to go home sometime tomorrow. Here are the details again since I didn't have all of the information in the first post. Anna Christine Veihl born at 5:45am, Aug. 7, weighing 8 lbs. 14 oz., and 20 1/2 inches long.

She is so cute. What will Kara do with such a big baby? What made her go to the hospital this morning?
Great pictures and a great presentation. I told her that this baby would be 9 pounds. I didn't miss it by much. How can she look so good right after childbirth? No wonder the women put us to shame on the backpacking trips. They never complain and usually lead the way. It is so annoying to be trying to catch up with them. But then, I am very sure I could not handle all that goes with carrying a baby and that whole delivery process. What a beautiful baby! Let me add my thanks for posting the pictures.
What a cute baby! I was able to get away and see them both this afternoon. Kara was doing wonderfully! What an amazing woman. And Anna is adorable.
Becky, they called me when Kara's contractions were about 7 min. apart. She had the baby about 20 min. after they broke her water.
She is very adorable, we think she looks a lot like Abby, and a little like Adam too.
How great! She is such a cutie!
