Cake Decorating

I took my first cake decorating class, it was so much fun! I think I did pretty good for my first cake too.  I learned a lot, like you should freeze your cake before decorationg, less cake crumbs, and keeps the cake moist.  I would take another class sometime, anyone interested?

Instructor's cake

My cake, my frosting colors were a little darker, and I also used a couple different tips than she did, just because I already had them.

Oooooo Aaaaa that looks real good Laurie. I like the ribbons around the sides. Did you just learn flowers in that class or did you learn other shapes to?

Steph, I took the class in Shields at Mary's Creative Cakery, I LOVE that place. It's a little family owned business, and they are all so nice.

Sarah, I learned a few tricks and I could do other things if I get different frosting tips and practice with them. Are you hinting around for something? :)

Oh Amber, I like your cakes too. You are welcome to borrow my decorating supplies anytime. I have 6-7 tips right now, a little turn table, etc. I might get a couple more tips and start practicing for Addie's cake.

Jenny thinks like me- I liked the bright colors better, too.
So you have turn table, I'll have to remember that. :)
