Remodeling - Part 2

Okay, here is our master bedroom and bath. We gutted everything, and started new.

We are still trying to decide what to do for closet doors. We also need to get blinds on the windows.

My hubby successfully completed his first tiling job, and I think it looks great.

Thanks to all of you. Again, we shopped at IKEA, I love that store. The only one in MI is in Canton. They have cool stuff for kids too. The next project is finishing the basement. We've done the demolition, and Dean applied Dry Lock, now he wants, to put up some walls and drywall the entire thing. Big project! Of course he keeps busy with work too, so it may be a while before I can post pictures of that. :)

Chris, I totally agree with you.

Brandi Jo, wonderful to hear from you! You have a lovely house, in fact I remember seeing your vessel sink in your master bath, and wanted one ever since. I guess you were my inspiration, you have great taste. :) BTW, how is your grandma doing?

I love IKEA! I'm very excited to live closer to it. It should only be about 25 minutes away :) James got me into it. They have great deals too.

Grams is not so good. She keeps having strokes (some mini, some not so mini) and her body isn't strong enough for them to figure out where they are coming from - so they can't stop them. She's pretty much been in the hospital for the last month or so. Yesterday she had a major stroke and is not able to speak or swallow...it's VERY frustrating. I'm sorry...I shouldn't be putting stuff like this on your wonderful blog spot!

Brandi, I will keep praying for her, and the rest of you too. I sent her a card a little while ago, but I would just LOVE to give her a big(and gentle)hug. Anyway, if we wanted to send flowers or something, where would you suggest we send them. Their house? The hospital? Thanks for giving me an update.
