2 Weeks

Addison is 2 weeks old today! She had her 2 week check up and now weighs 8 lbs 10 oz. We are both doing well, and even getting out of the house for a short time. We went to SVSU for a visit, and she didn't mind being handed around. Tomorrow we are going to an open house for Dean's cousin.

This is one of my favorites, she actually smiles quite a bit.

We're Home!

I was discharged Tuesday night, but they let me keep the room another night so I could feed Adie in the NICU throughout the night. She was discharged lateWednesday night, and came home with a Billi light for her Jaundice. We are so happy to have her home with us. She did awesome her first night, didn't even wake up. I actually woke her up once to feed her. I hope she will continue this, but I think the light is what is making her so tired right now. She is eating well and had her first doctor's appointment today, hopefully her Jaundice levels have gone down enough to take her off the light soon. Thank you again to everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers for us.

Update on Adie

Addison is still in the NICU, but is starting to do better. She hasn't been eating because she keeps throwing up, poor little girl. They were concerned about her continuous spitting up so they did an x-ray on her stomach today. They just wanted to make sure there wasn't a reason to be concerned about her throwing up so much. The x-ray looked fine, and they said she just needs to get rid of all the yucky stuff in her tummy so she will start eating. They were going to put saline in her stomach to help clean it out. I think she's acts hungry, just can't keep anything down. Her Jaundice is stable right now, and once she is able to start eating, it should go down quickly. Please keep her in your prayers.
