The three of us made our yearly trip to Cedar Point. We spent 2 days there and it was great. No cell phones or computers, just the three of us spending time together. We all love the roller coasters, but it took a little convincing to get Jacob on the Top Thrill Dragster. He was in tears the first time we got in line because he was scared, so we didn't go. By the end of the day he was ready. It's now his favorite ride. The boys begged to go on it again the next day, so much for the water park. We did spend a few hours in Soak City, but then it was back to the coasters. :)

Pool Fun!
Ground Crew
I have been helping a fellow co-worker/friend with their hot air balloons for a few years now. I have been up 3 times so far, and it is awesome. For the most part I help setup, chase, and bring down the balloon. Jacob went with me last time to see what it was all about. He wants to go up next time. If you ever have the chance to take a ride, it is well worth it. There is also a hot air balloon festival in Midland in September that is always fun.

Up up and away....

Sometimes there are other ballooners that go up too.
It's fun to watch them all, very beautiful and peaceful.

Nice soft landing.

Jacob testing out the basket, I think he's excited to go up next time.

Home Sweet Home
Here are a few pictures of our new house. You have to like color in order to like my house because it is full of it. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it, that is the artist side of me. It's like a big canvas just waiting for me to decorate. The orange wall is still growing on Dean. It will look much better once we get some furniture and things in there. It is about 3 times bigger than our old house, so I guess I have some shopping to do.

SOLD!
We sold our house in Saginaw on N. Clinton. The house was only on the market for 1 month. Praise God! Every other house on our street has been on the market for months or even a year. We have found a house in Saginaw Township and close on Friday. The timing worked out perfect, we can start moving in on Friday, and have to be out of our old house on the 27th. We are so excited, and can't wait to have everyone over. I will post pictures of the new house after we close and it is officially ours.

Jacob's Accident
On Memorial Day, we received a call at home that Jacob was being taken to the ER. I believe we only got the call when we did because they needed my insurance information, since Jacob is on my policy. He was up north with his mother and grandparents. His grandpa had Jacob and his little brother in the back of his pick up driving around on their property. Anyway, Jacob fell out of the truck and fractured his collar bone. He is pretty bruised and scratched up, but he is doing very well. He has to be in the harness and sling for about 6 weeks. I personally would never put young children in the back of a moving truck, not very responsible in my opinion. I'm just glad he is okay.
